Huot Manufacturing Company, a sheet metal manufacturer located in St. Paul, is looking for a full time Forklift Driver. Hours are Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm. This position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Responsibilities Include:
- Receive incoming materials and distribute materials to production and warehouse.
- Unload incoming trucks.
- Deliver materials to the production floor on a timely basis.
- Accurately process receiving and inventory paperwork.
- Work with Quality Control on new materials that require inspection.
- Use outdoor forklift to retrieve materials from storage.
- Be able to use a variety of forklifts, pallet jacks and two wheelers.
- Willingness to cross train in shipping and production floor.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Capable of lifting up to 75 pounds daily with assistance.
- Computer Knowledge.
- Must be able to work in a standing/sitting position for 8 hours a day.
- Must be able to pass a forklift certification test.
- One year experience in receiving/material handling.
- Solid basic math skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
This is a factory environment. There will be exposure to dust, hot/cold temperatures, and unpleasant smells.
A pre-employment drug screen is required upon hire.
