Maker of the original patented drill index, Huot’s clip-on drill index is great for both inside and outside usage. Called the Bit Buddy, the drill bit holder is shaped like a cup with a domed cover. Made from high impact plastic, the Bit Buddy has a molded side hook that easily clips on to a tool caddy, utility belt, tool bucket or ladder.
The Bit Buddy puts 29 drills in easy hands reach, eliminating wasted time from retrieving and searching for the right drill.
To meet the common requirements for construction, manufacturing and maintenance, the Bit Buddy comes in a jobber length model EDP30550 and a mechanics length model EDP30650 for fractional drills from 1/16” through 1/2” by 64ths.
The Bit Buddy features a screw-on domed cover. If accidentally dropped or dislodged, instead of falling out drill bits remain secure encased i nside the Bit Buddy. They keep from getting nicked or marred to provide longer, sharper life. Made entirely from plastic, the Bit Buddy’s water resistance makes it ideal for outside usage. In the rain or inclement weather, drills stay protected from the weather.
